A 33-year-old man from Modesto, California, TLC star Tyray’s online girlfriend was completely fake. Catfish Christian admitted to extorting money in part 2 of the 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days Tell All in 2023. Tyray is now ready to move on, and admits Hilary Clinton is his “dream woman”.

Tyray was in an online relationship with a woman who he believed to be called Carmella and lived in Barbados. As it turned out, he was being catfished by a man called Christian for five years.

A producer named Amelia discovered the catfishing after she tried to set up a video chat with Carmella, but the fake account avoided answering calls and video chats. She then warned Tyray.

Tyray had been sending $100 a month to ‘Carmella’ but his sister Lashanti did her own investigations, discovering that Carmella’s photos were taken from an escort website.

Tyray didn’t let the catfish incident stop him from finding love. He is now on 90 Day Fiance: Single Life season 4 alongside the likes of Chantel Everett, and says he “likes how strong Hilary Clinton is.”

He described her as his “dream woman.” Tyray joined a fitness group so he could “get out of his comfort zone and look like a snack,” and having just gone through a break-up, he’s on his wellness journey.

Tyray used to frequently chat with his catfish on Snapchat and even sent her his private photos and videos. Now, he’s looking for love on a local level on the TLC show spin-off.
